Wendy Labinger is a 2016 PEN America Emerging Voices fellow. She received her master’s degree in deaf education from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. She has taught English as a second language for 20 years. Wendy’s poems have been published in Sheila-Na-Gig, The Brillantina Project, and most recently in The Rattling Wall. She lives in Iowa City, IA and is working on her first collection of poems.
